The Practitioner ophthalmoscope is ideal for the primary care specialist with a high lens and filter range. Improved diagnostic capabilities are availble with this product due to the greater number of beams and filters. The product also has an additional blue filter that allows assessment of corneal scratches.

Designed to reduce glare from corneal reflex and provide sharp images, Keeler optics are industry renowned for their consistent high-quality images giving you confidence in your assessments.
Maywheel lens control
Positive action maywheel lens control allows you to select lens powers from +40D to -25D. This increased lens range allows detailed examination of the ocular structures and provides ease of use for spectacle wearers.
6 beams for full diagnostic capability

- Wide angle – for the best possible general diagnosis through a dilated pupil
- Macular – reduces excessive pupillary reaction and patient discomfort
- Intermediate – providing easier access for non-dilated pupils and in peripheral examination. Ideal for paediatrics
- Slit – to determine retinal elevations and depressions. Used to access the anterior chamber depth.
- Fixation Cross – projects a graticule onto the retina for assessment of eccentric fixation.
Vivid LED illumination
The LED light beam provides a consistent, fully adjustable light. Featuring a homogenous and sharp patch, the LED is also more efficient overall, resulting in longer battery life.
A blue filter to be used in combination with Fluorescein is particularly useful for assessing corneal scratches
A red free filter for enhanced vessel examination can be used with both diagnostic beams. This feature is particularly useful for diabetic assessment and monitoring.
Ergonomic design and compact head
