With the new adaptor, for most smart phones is simply connected to one of the PSL’s eye pieces. In seconds, the portable slit lamp can capture video footage, an ideal platform for telemedicine. Practitioners can use captured video for diagnosis, teaching, patient communication and record keeping, making the adaptor an affordable and practical addition that can enhance any eye examination. Keeler’s PSL takes advantage of the smart phone full imaging capabilities along with linked email to upload video clips.
